TIA Buddhist Center Design

The Karma Kagyu (Hong Kong) Buddhist Society Center is the only center in HK directly under Karmapa. It is a great honour to receive the direct appointment from the 17th Karmapa for our center's design and engineering supervision. This time the design was approved by His Holiness himself.
 

The design direction will enhance the practicality, Tibetan culture and atmosphere experience.  In the main entrance, a picture of the full height of the Karmapa picture is placed in a respectful heart.  On the right hand side is a small exhibition area and canteen. Grass carpets give everyone a relaxed and informal communication. They can also share movies. Further in-depth is the small library, office and lama bedroom. On the left-hand side, after the passage of the Scriptures, the bathroom of the Tibetan murals was seen turning into an external wall. Believers enter the temple filled with Tibetan Buddhist atmosphere from the center of the temple. All the columns painting in the temple were hand-painted by the monks from the Lund Temple in Bhutan. In this region, Tibetan culture is very heavy.
