TIA Arts Gallery & Exhibition Design

 

“A fast, flexible gallery renovation designed for a short-term exhibition, where controlled lighting and a darkened environment allow black-and-white photography to take centre stage.”

 

This project involved a short-term renovation created specifically for a short-term exhibition. The design focused on speed, flexibility, and atmosphere, ensuring the space could be transformed efficiently without compromising the exhibition experience.

As demonstrated by the black-and-white photography on display, the gallery required a controlled, darkened environment. Lighting was carefully managed to highlight the artworks while maintaining visual comfort and clarity. The overall design was intentionally restrained, allowing the photography to take centre stage without distraction.

The result is a temporary yet impactful gallery space—designed to support the artwork, adapt quickly, and deliver a strong visual presence within a limited timeframe.
