TIA Arts Gallery & Exhibition Design

“ An invitation-only art gallery in Central, Hong Kong, designed with a minimalist approach to let art take centre stage. Museum-grade lighting, concealed storage, and clean white walls create a refined and flexible exhibition space.”

This invitation-only art gallery in Central, Hong Kong was designed with one clear goal: to let art take centre stage.

With a floor area of 1,000 square feet, the design focuses on simplicity, flexibility, and precision. A minimalist approach allows each artwork to be experienced without distraction, while ensuring the space remains practical for exhibitions and events.

At the entrance, a rugged LG board reception counter stands like a sculptural object, anchoring the gallery space. Storage areas are discreetly concealed within the walls, allowing artworks to be stored securely without interrupting the clean visual flow of the gallery.

White gallery walls were intentionally selected to provide a neutral backdrop, ensuring the true colours and textures of each artwork remain uncompromised.

A museum-grade ERCO lighting system with advanced LED technology was installed, allowing light filters to be adjusted as needed. This system enables even wall washing and precise spotlighting, ensuring each piece is displayed in its best possible light.

The Japanese owners, who also operate galleries in Japan, highly appreciated the quality, clarity, and international standard achieved in the Hong Kong gallery.
