Clinic Design

“ A modern eye care centre designed with fluid forms, natural tones and a human-centred approach.”

This project marks the third clinic of the brand and represents a fresh new chapter in redefining its identity and patient experience. The clinic provides ophthalmology, cataract treatment and optometry services, and what makes this project unique is that the entire design and coordination process was carried out remotely from the UK.

From initial discussions and concept design, to material selection, 3D visualisation, contractor coordination and final completion, everything was managed remotely. The project was completed smoothly, and the client was highly satisfied with both the outcome and the design experience.

The design focuses on breaking away from the cold, clinical feel often associated with medical spaces. Soft curves were introduced throughout the long, rectangular layout to create a sense of movement and vitality. Natural tones and materials were carefully selected to create a calming atmosphere, while the brand’s signature green was incorporated to strengthen visual identity and brand recognition.

Upon entering the clinic, visitors are welcomed by the reception area. To the left sits the optometry zone and eyewear display, allowing patients to browse freely. ZEISS eye-testing equipment is integrated into the space, and the optometrist’s workstation features a floating design supported by mirrored steel, giving the impression of lightness and openness.

On the right-hand side, a recessed waiting area features a sculptural, tree-trunk-inspired bench. Behind it, a forest image photographed by the client creates a soothing visual backdrop, helping patients relax while waiting.

Before entering the consultation rooms, visitors pass through a curved timber feature wall combined with specially designed green glass panels. This design language continues throughout the clinic, with curved glass partitions echoing the timber elements to create visual continuity and rhythm. The corridor itself also incorporates concealed storage while enhancing the sense of depth and movement.

The entire layout is organised along a gently curved central corridor, allowing both sides of the clinic to be used efficiently. The result is a highly functional yet warm and distinctive eye care centre that goes beyond the conventional clinical experience.
