TIA Clinic Design
“A community-based medical centre designed for clarity and reassurance—where warmth, efficiency, and calm guide patients through everyday healthcare.”
Located in Maritime Square, Tsing Yi, this Quality HealthCare Medical Centre was designed to support high daily patient flow while maintaining a calm and reassuring environment. The project balances clinical efficiency with a sense of familiarity, ensuring patients feel at ease from the moment they enter.
The spatial layout is organised around a clear and intuitive circulation system, separating waiting, consultation, and treatment areas to minimise congestion and confusion. Sightlines are carefully considered, allowing staff to maintain visual control while giving patients a sense of openness rather than enclosure.
Warm timber finishes are introduced at the reception and waiting areas to soften the clinical setting, creating a welcoming first impression. Seating is arranged in linear and island configurations to accommodate different group sizes while maintaining privacy and comfort. Built-in storage and wall-integrated display units keep the environment tidy and visually uncluttered.
Clinical rooms are designed with practicality as the priority, providing flexible layouts to accommodate a range of medical equipment and specialist functions. Finishes are kept light and neutral to reinforce cleanliness and clarity, while integrated lighting ensures consistent visual comfort for both staff and patients.
Through clear planning, restrained material choices, and a focus on patient experience, the design delivers a medical centre that feels approach
