“ A refined residential interior defined by material layering, spatial flow, and long-term comfort.”

This residential project focuses on the layering and material richness of shared living spaces, integrating the living, dining, and study areas into a continuous and open domestic environment.

​

The layout unfolds along a linear axis, with zones defined through material changes rather than solid partitions. The living area is anchored by low-profile furniture and a rug, creating a calm and comfortable retreat, while the shelving and work area behind it transitions naturally into a study zone, allowing daily activities to flow seamlessly within the same space.

​

A restrained palette of stone, timber, and dark metal elements establishes a sense of depth and solidity. The stone feature wall and fireplace act as visual anchors, balanced by warm lighting to soften the overall atmosphere.

​

Lighting is carefully layered, combining recessed ceiling lights, feature pendants, and integrated shelving illumination to support different functions while enhancing spatial depth. The design prioritises proportion, material contrast, and rhythm, resulting in a refined living environment intended for long-term comfort.
